As I sit here typing it’s just dumping buckets of rain outside, bringing piles of soggy leaves down with it. Luckily I get to stare at these photos from Megan & Andrew’s engagement session and relive the crisp sunshine weather! And the laughter. All of the laughter. Normally I fly solo to photograph engagements but since Andrew & Hunter are buds, Hunter joined us and only knocked over a few things (like half of the canoes when he tried to sit on them so Andrew & Megan helped re-stack them while I took photos..?). We just had a wonderful evening with these two from start to finish. We first met up at Pickering Creek where Andrew went to summer camp & even became a camp counselor – Megan hadn’t been here before and luckily we got to join in hearing Andrew’s nostalgia for the first time. Oh the things we learned lololol. We took advantage of all of the fall foliage and explored out to the Waterman’s Shanty to take in the beautiful views. We then hopped back in our cars & drove to Megan & Andrew’s beautiful home they bought two months ago (!!) where they popped champagne in their backyard & snuggled by the fire pit they built over the weekend. We even got to sneak in a home tour & meet their perfect pup Ellie & scratch her belly dohhh. And as if it wasn’t a treat enough to get to hang out with these guys, they handed us gluten-free dairy-free peanut butter treats on our way out the door with hot apple cider for our drive home *cry face cry face cry face* *heart*. MEGAN & ANDREW – same time next week?!
