When I first met Danyella & Stephen over a year ago, we wandered through some woods with their ukuleles & perfectly snarly pug Mr. Bean. I instantly fell in love with their stories, real kindness, & contagious laughter and had the ultimate time photographing their love. Sitting on the plane this week flying over the Rocky Mountains to Colorado Springs, I was feeling allll the giddy feelings again. Then when I met their badass bridal party I knew this was going to be as epic as I dreamed it would be. Danyella & Stephen shared their first look with the iconic Pikes Peak in the background while Mr. Bean & Magnolia (their newest furry addition) watched excitedly. Well they were mostly distracted. Because, dogs. Danyella made her own wedding gown (along with all of the crepe-paper flowers, painted cake topper, and literally everything else) like a frickin BALLER. P.S. she rocks her Etsy shop selling custom-made versions of these beauties for other couples, too. This outdoorsy mountain-backdrop wedding with my favorite red dread-headed bride & magnificently bearded groom is officially one of the most epic wedding days of all time.
