Nestled in the virginia mountains lies a 10-acre spring-fed lake lined with willow trees, a restored barn, and a crackling fire pit. It’s alongside this lake where Shayma & Andrew exchanged vows & flower garlands this weekend to commit their lives to one another. The swaying leaves danced in the wind as their guests cheered and tossed dried flower petals for Shayma & Andrew’s first newlywed kiss. From beginning to end their wedding day was beautifully textured with South Asian vibrancy paired with the serenity of Big Spring Farm‘s sprawling property. It was a day celebrating the people that brought them together, the beginning of autumn, and the mountains they love to explore. And of course GOOD FOOD. With a passion for cooking, Shayma & Andrew planned a feast of Mediterranean & South Asian mezze that sent your taste buds on a heavenly journey. I have such a love for these two & felt honored to document this milestone!
