Earthy Winterthur Gardens & Estate Wedding || Megan & Craig

This post has been pure joy in the making. I’ve been anticipating Megan & Craig’s wedding day for quite some time now, getting to share meals with them throughout the journey & even meeting their precious cats Teddy & Penny. These two have thoughtful souls with a rare wit that makes you feel warmth on the inside while cracking up on the outside. And it was downright delightful to see their vision come to life (& to hang out with them all day long). Inspired by nature, the outdoors, & their adventures ahead, Megan & Craig planned a color palette of burgundy red, amber yellow, terracotta, and sage green to complement the festivities ahead. Then they gathered their closest friends & family at Winterthur Museum & Country Estate in Delaware on a perfectly cooled summer afternoon to hold hands & commit their lives to one another. While guests mingled by the reflecting pool, the four of us hopped on a golf cart and trolled around the estate, catching the last ray of sunlight lasers beaming behind the trees. And these two solidified my favorite wedding detail of all time – Megan tied Teddy & Penny’s leather string, their fave toy, around her bouquet so they could include their cats as a part of their wedding day <3. Megan & Craig, I hope you two are tearing it up in Croatia & we look forward to seeing you guys when you get back ;)!
