Last year, Natalie & Sam bought a home with a vision. A vision to gather friends & family on their woodsy waterfront property as they celebrated committing their forevers to one another. Well this past Saturday that vision came to life in the most elegant way & we were thrilled to capture the unfolding memories. In hues of blue, Natalie & Sam designed their ceremony site in an open clearing of woods beside their home. The creativity that flows out of their minds & hands is as inspiring as it is beautiful, & knowing they worked together on these communal art projects makes it all the sweeter. After they kissed & walked down the aisle, guests followed the newlywed couple up onto the two-tiered deck overlooking the sailboat-studded water. It’s like how weddings used to be way back in the day, at a family home with farmhouse tables filled with seasonal blooms & vintage china tablescapes. Except this time there was also a metal canoe overflowing with ice cold beer, gorgeous waterfront views, charcuterie spreads larger than your arm could reach, and an epic dance party into the night. Natalie & Sam, thanks for inviting us to be a part of your lives – your home is absolutely beautiful and we’re definitely going to take you up on that dinner date ;).
