Mackenzie & Michael’s rooftop garden wedding kicked off in style this weekend at The Line DC. With a modern romantic setting, they added their personal touch of whimsical wildflowers, fun floral patterned tablecloths, and Michael’s bird paintings. It felt like a summer garden soirée. We started their day with a first look right outside The Line in an herb garden patch with buzzing bees. Then we moseyed around this beautiful place, enjoying the afternoon. We found ourselves on the upper balcony with huge arched windows that begged for thoughtful silhouettes. Once the summer sun began its descent, their rooftop ceremony sang with all the warmth, kindness, and thoughtfulness that these two embody. Before the sun disappeared for the night, we enjoyed the quintessential DC view and captured some blurry newlywed romantic motion. Then the band started the party, guests danced their booties off, and the bash was one to remember.
