It’s pretty amazing how spending an evening walking trails in a park can lift your spirits. Meeting up with Circe & Brandon at Patuxent Research Refuge was a highlight of my week as we set out to enjoy nature & celebrate their engagement. With stormy clouds & distant lightning approaching closer and closer, we jumped right in and didn’t skip a beat! We explored the wooden slatted walkways, twirled along the lily pad-studded lake, and pitstopped at every beautiful towering tree along the way. We couldn’t believe how long the rain held off and joked as we said goodbye that it was about to dump. And it sure did right as we drove off! Couldn’t ask for better timing :).
