My bff Erin Kemp & I jumped at an idea we had one wine-filled evening to plan an edgy, chill inspirational shoot during our wedding ‘off-season’ to FUEL some creativity. We wanted to forge the path ahead to try new ideas, push the status quo with community over competition, and design table settings // ceremony backdrops // tiny details that we photographers haven’t planned since our own weddings :). Erin & I spent our afternoons thrifting, antiquing & DIY-ing all different pieces for the shoot. Then our friendors rolled in and brought their A-game to hype this thing up even better than we imagined. This shoot combines big floral installations of dyed baby’s breath, edgy gold hair clips (made by yours truly!), a to-die-for velvet mustard couch, textured cobblestone & greenhouse backdrops, and a palette of mauve, gold, & black in a table setting I’d lounge at all night. hbu.
