When I watch this video clip & scroll through these photos, I’m instantly transported back to this moment. A moment when the sun shone, the wind blew over the mountaintop peak, and Tommy asked Ashley to be in his life forever. And man I think we could all use a little dose of this joy (& reminder of the outdoors) right now. While hunkering down in my car at the base of the Sugarloaf Mountain trail, Tommy texted me early saying he was too excited to wait any longer if I was ready. Indeed I was. Once we spotted each other at the top, he got down on one knee in the midst of the rocks where Ashley was sitting with their dog Chloe, asking Ashley to marry him. She excitedly said yes & Tommy placed a black diamond engagement ring on her cool tattooed fingers. Tears, hugs, smooches, & butt grabs followed. We adventured around the peak enjoying the view of the beautiful blue plains & popped champagne in the sun’s orange glow. During a few in-between moments, I snuck in some video footage that Hunter turned into a sweet film. (Bless him for creating magic from my amateur footage, that’s why he’s the videography expert lolol).
