Sweet Backyard Wedding With Homemade Babkas, A Cat In A Tent, And A Family-style Dinner || Margaret & Steven

This past weekend Margaret & Steven gathered their parents & siblings for the sweetest wedding ceremony in their english cottage backyard. Oh and their ADORABLE animal crew. Two fluffy cats, a sweet rescue pup, and their newest puppy addition who came into their lives two weeks ago! Each fluff donned their own wedding bowtie for the occasion and enjoyed endless walk-by head pets. It was the best. Oh and did I mention their munchkin kitty Murphy watched their ceremony in an outdoor cat tent? He sang meow-tunes all afternoon, hands-down the best wedding vocalist in town.

Margaret & Steven’s wedding was a cozy, stress-free day focused on their love – exactly how a wedding should be. We even photographed their engagement session at their home last year, filling this place with even more sweet memories. After Margaret & Steven sealed their vows with their first kiss, the whole family pitched in to set up dinner outside on the patio. And let me just tell you, Margaret is one exquisite gluten-free baker. Not only did she bake her own marble wedding cake with hand-painted flowers, she also made drool-worthy golden brown loaves of bread (like brioche babkas swirled with basil, pesto, feta, and sun-dried tomatoes OKKK). Paired with endless pizzas & pasta dishes, there was no shortage of deliciousness to go around during their family dinner reception. Their pups even got to taste Margaret’s cake as she fed them from a lil fork after their cake cutting! It’s just all too good.
